NyQuil Cough (generic: dextromethorphan and doxylamine) is an over-the-counter medication used to temporarily treat cough, runny nose, and sneezing.

NyQuil Cough belongs to two groups of drugs called cough suppressants and antihistamines. Cough suppressants work by by silencing the respiratory system and suppressing the reflex to cough.
