There is not a definitive test to diagnose psoriatic arthritis.
Symptoms of psoriatic arthritis may feel and look a lot like rheumatoid arthritis and a rheumatologist (doctor specializing in diseases affecting the joints) may use physical examinations, health history, blood tests and x-rays to accurately diagnose you.
Make sure to talk to your doctor and have an examination to see if you have or are at risk for psoriatic arthritis.
