How to Survive Spring Allergies
In some severe cases, when medication doesn’t relieve symptoms or causes too many side effects, a doctor may suggest long-term immunotherapy that involves identifying the allergen and providing regular injections that include tiny amounts of that allergen. Over several years of this treatment, your body will hopefully become used to the allergen, decreasing your need for other medication.
