America's Unhappiest States
Georgia came in at the 24th most unhappy state in America, according to the Gallup and Healthways Well-Being Index. Georgia has population of 9.92 million, and of that, nearly 65 percent of all adults are considered overweight or obese. Multiple studies have found obesity to increase the risk of depression.
