William W. Ashley, Jr., MD, PhD, MBA

William W. Ashley, Jr., MD, PhD, MBA, is a neurosurgeon at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Ashley’s specialties include aneurysms, brain hemorrhage (bleeding), brain tumors, carotid stenosis, carotid artery surgery, cervical lumbar disc surgery, complex cranial base tumors, endovascular therapy, radiosurgery and intracranial occlusive disease. Dr. Ashley earned his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurological surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine; a fellowship in cerebrovascular surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center; and a fellowship in neuroendovascular surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Ashley is an assistant professor in the departments of Neurological Surgery and Radiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
