Richard Humes, MD, FAAP, FACC

Richard Humes, MD, FAAP, FACC is Chief of Cardiology on staff at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan, and Professor of Pediatrics at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University in 1980, did his residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan, 1980-1984, and did a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic, 1984-1987.

He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (1984), American Board of Pediatrics, Sub-Board of Pediatric Cardiology (1988, Recertified 1995, 2002).

His clinical and research interests include Echocardiography, Fetal Echocardiography, and Telemedicine.
