Mark Bornfeld, DDS
Dr. Bornfeld is an actively practicing dentist, partnered with his brother Steven in the DentalTwins general practice in Brooklyn, New York. He has a particular interest in diagnosis and oral medicine.
Dr. Bornfeld attended Brooklyn College, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry, and completed his residency in general practice at Peninsula Hospital in Queens, NY.
Among his interests are pharmacology, molecular biology, and evidence-based clinical care.
Dr. Bornfeld was inducted into the Omega Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He serves as an online expert at Pearl.com, participates in the Donated Dental Services program, and provides voluntary community support as part of New York City’s Medical Reserve Corps. He recently served as Consumer Reviewer for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. He writes widely on dental care and oral health, and maintains a free, open-access online question and answer dental forum.
Dr. Bornfeld is available for general dental care at his office in the Midwood community of Brooklyn.
