Mammogram awareness program provides free resources

(RxWiki News) As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And the US Food & Drug Administration's (FDA) Office of Women's Health is offering free materials to help spread the word about the importance of having regular mammograms.

The Pink Ribbon Sunday program is devoted to saving lives by helping to educate women learn about mammography in their churches and through community events.

Developed by FDA Office of Women's Healthy, the education program emphasizes the vital importance of receiving regular mammograms. This screening helps to detect breast cancer in its earliest, most treatable and curable stages.
