Overactive Bladder Health Center

Symptoms of overactive bladder include urinating eight or more times daily and one to two times at night. Frequently having a sudden and strong need to urinate and accidental urine leakage also can be expected with overactive bladder.

Even if patients with overactive bladder can make it to the toilet when they have the sudden urge to urinate, the sudden and frequent urge to urinate can interfere with daily life, especially if those urges often arise at night.

Some people assume that overactive bladder is a normal part of aging, but that is not the case. Tell your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms of overactive bladder.
