Tom Jennings, MD
Tom Jennings, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has practiced Ophthalmology for over 20 years. After spending four years as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon doing Aero-Medical Research, Dr. Jennings completed his Residency in Ophthalmology and Fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Uveitis at the University of Illinois.
He has published both clinical and research papers and has been deeply involved in electronic medical record software development for over 9 years. He was awarded the Harry G. Armstrong Award for Scientific Excellence at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He is a member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Jennings is experienced in all areas of Ophthalmology and is diligent to stay current with the newest medications and techniques in order to provide the best care for his patients. He treats various ocular disorders including Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Uveitis, Glaucoma, and Adult Motility Disorders. Dr. Jennings will perform Strabismus Muscle surgery and will also use advanced lasers to treat Glaucoma, Secondary Cataracts, and Retinal conditions.
