J. Theodore Phillips, MD, PhD, FAAN

Dr. Phillips has specialized in multiple sclerosis patient care and research for over 30 years. He was the founder and director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at UT Southwestern from 1984-1993, and the founder and director of the MS Clinic and Research Center at Texas Neurology in Dallas from 1993-2011. He is a clinical professor and member of the Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Treatment Training Program at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and is also an adjunct investigator at the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research.

Dr. Phillips has over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books relating to MS, and has been a principal or lead investigator in over 35 clinical treatment research trials, several of which have resulted in FDA approval of new treatment options in MS.
