Dr. Vinh Nguyen is the medical director of the nuclear laboratory at Texas Heart & Vascular.
Dr. Nguyen received both his bachelor's degree and medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He continued his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, and the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Nguyen completed his Cardiology fellowship at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, where he served as Chief Fellow. He completed advanced training in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular ultrasound imaging, and CT angiography at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Nguyen is board certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
