Parkinson's Disease Health Center

While living with Parkinson's disease may be difficult, it is possible with the necessary assistance, support and vigilance. Talk to your doctor about treatment and symptom management. What doesn't work for one patient may work for another.

Disease management depends on the specific symptoms a patient experiences. In other words, medication combinations or surgical options can be prescribed depending on each patient's needs.

If symptoms are severe and cannot be controlled by medication alone, deep brain stimulation (DBS) may be an option.
