Claritin

Claritin Tablets, Reditabs, Liquigels (generic: loratadine) are over-the-counter medications used to treat the symptoms of hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies. These symptoms may include:

• runny nose
• sneezing
• itchy, watery eyes
• itching of the nose or throat.

Claritin Tablets: 10 mg

Claritin Reditabs (12-hour): 5 mg

Claritin Reditabs (24-hour): 10 mg

Claritin Liquigels: 10 mg

Claritin Tablets: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate

Claritin Reditabs: anhydrous citric acid, gelatin, mannitol, mint flavor

Claritin Liquigels: caprylic/capric glycerin, FD&C blue no. 1, gelatin, glycerin, pharmaceutical ink, polysorbate 80, povidine, purified water

Do not use if you are allergic to this product or to any of its ingredients.

Consult a physician if you have liver or kidney disease.

Take product as directed, taking more than directed may cause drowsiness.

If an allergic reaction to this product occurs, seek medical help right away.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a physician.

Keep out of reach of children.

In case of overdose, get medical attention immediately or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).

Those with liver or kidney disease should ask a doctor before using Claritin.

Claritin Tablets:

For adults and children 6 years and over, take 1 tablet daily. Do not take more than 1 tablet in 24 hours.

Claritin Reditabs (12-hour):

For adults and children 6 years and over, take 1 tablet every 12 hours. Do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Claritin Reditabs (24-hour):

For adults and children 6 years and over, take 1 tablet every 24 hours. Do not take more than 1 tablet in 24 hours.

Claritin Liquigels:

For adults and children 6 years and over, take 1 capsule every 24 hours. Do not take more than 1 capsule in 24 hours.

Claritin Tablets, Reditabs, Liquigels:

For children under 6 years of age, ask a doctor before use.

Claritin Tablets, Reditabs, Liquigels:

• safety sealed: do not use if the individual blister unit is open or torn
• store at room temperature between 20° to 25° C (68° to 77°F)
• protect from excessive moisture
