Women Who Use ADHD Meds: A Growing Group
The number of women who take medication for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has sharply increased in recent years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
When ADHD is a Female Problem
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a well known and common disorder. In fact, PubMed Health reports that it is “the most commonly diagnosed behavioral disorder of childhood” and affects around 3 to 5 percent of children.
