The American Cancer Society estimates that 49,300 women will be diagnosed with uterine and uterine corpus cancer. Most women - 96 percent – who have uterine cancer that hasn’t spread beyond the uterus will be alive in five years.
However, 12,300 women will lose their battle against this cancer this year.
