NHL Players Who Give Back
In addition to establishing the Mario Lemieux Foundation, Lemieux also supports the Arthritis Society of Canada, which has invested almost $200 million towards arthritis research. This foundation focuses its research on rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, among several other types of arthritis.
