MS and Pregnancy: Is it Safe?

Before 1950, women were advised to avoid becoming pregnant because it might worsen their MS symptoms. However, since then, research has shown that becoming pregnant is safe for women with MS. In fact, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society says that pregnancy reduces the amount of MS exacerbations.
