Frequently Asked Questions About Erectile Dysfunction

What is Erectile Dysfunction?

An erection is the result of increased blood flow to the penis usually due to sexual arousal in a man. Erectile dysfunction (ED) can have many different causes. Some men with ED cannot form an erection at all; others may get an erection, but it goes away too quickly; some men may get an erection when aroused one time, but not the next; and other men may achieve a partial erection that is not firm enough for sexual intercourse.
