Coping with Spring Allergies

Allergy 101

The most common spring allergies are due to plant pollen in the air. Pollen is made of tiny seed particles from plants that are spread around by the wind to fertilize other plants. Unfortunately, this means they can end up in your nose and mouth. Pollen comes from blooming flowers, trees and even grass. Sneezing, stuffy noses and itchy, watery eyes are common symptoms tied to spring allergies. Some people have more severe reactions that can include wheezing and other breathing trouble.
