Prezista

Prezista is a prescription medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Prezista belongs to a group of HIV medicines called protease inhibitors. Prezista blocks HIV protease, an enzyme which is needed for HIV to multiply.

This medication comes in tablet and oral (by mouth) solution forms and is usually taken once or twice daily, with food.

Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and headache.
