Dr. Seman is a long time resident of Massachusetts and a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA . After completing medical school, he completed his pediatric residency from the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington, VT. After graduating from this residency program he moved back to Massachusetts where he joined a one physician private practice where he also helped staff the Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery for 17 years.

Over the years he has been part of the attending and teaching staff of the pediatric portion of the Beverly Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. Although that program no longer exists, he continues to teach office based pediatrics to Medical Students and Residents of the various programs in the Boston area and elsewhere. 

Dr. Seman was also named "Best of Boston: Pediatrician 2005" by Boston Magazine. He continues to practice primary care pediatrics in the same practice, where he has worked for over 20 years and has been a school physician for two schools, covering the ages of Preschool through ninth grade for over 16 years. His advice has been featured in national magazines, has written several articles for local newspapers and has given speeches to various local parenting groups. 

After joining, his practice initially consisted of two physicians and one nurse practitioner. Now he is president of the same practice which now has five physicians, three nurse practitioners, a nutritionist and a physical therapist and takes care of children from over 20 communities. Dr. Seman lives in a suburb outside of Boston and is married with two grown children.
