Seanna Crosbie, LCSW

Seanna C. Crosbie, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Austin Child Guidance Center. Ms. Crosbie specializes in providing evidence-based treatments to children and their families.

Ms. Crosbie attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's degree in clinical social work.

Ms. Crosbie specializes in providing individual, family, and group therapy to children and their parents. She serves as the director of Program Services at Austin Child Guidance Center, the oldest children's mental health agency in the Austin Area. Her areas of interest include parenting issues such as, divorce, discipline routines, managing tantrums, developing nurturing relationships, parent self-care, co-parenting, limit setting, and communication. Areas of childhood interest include ADHD, trauma, adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, opposition/defiant behavior, early infant mental health, consultation in childcare centers, school-based therapy, bullying, self-esteem issues, and grief/loss.

Ms. Crosbie is a member of the Travis County Model Court Collaborative Council as well as Community Partners for Children, serves on the St. Edwards Social Work Advisory Board, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Ms. Crosbie has presented workshops at both the NASW Texas and Texas School Social Work Conferences. Ms. Crosbie has also appeared on local television news programs discussing topics such as the symptoms of sexual abuse in children, trauma treatment and dealing with natural disasters, bullying and helping your child with the transition back to school.
