Eric Haas, MD

Dr. Eric Haas is a board-certified colorectal surgeon at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is nationally recognized as an expert in advanced laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer as well as benign diseases such as diverticulitis, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, and rectal prolapse. In addition, he performs common colorectal procedures such as hemorrhoid repair and correction of fecal incontinence using modern non-surgical and minimally-invasive techniques, which results in less pain and quicker recovery.

Haas is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he earned his M.D. He received his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital and The University of Texas affiliated hospitals.
