Eric Collins, M.D.

Eric Collins, M.D. is Physician-in-Chief at Silver Hill Hospital and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.


Dr. Collins completed medical school at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency at Columbia-Presbyterian/New York State Psychiatric Institute. He was a Research Fellow in Addiction Psychiatry, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and a Clinical Fellow in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Columbia- Presbyterian Medical Center.


Dr. Collins is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine and Addiction Medicine.


He was ranked as one of the top addiction psychiatrists by Castle Connolly in 2013, and in 2012, he was ranked among the best addiction psychiatrists in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report. His specializations include: Chemical Addiction, Pain and Addiction, Co-Morbidity of Psychiatric Illness and Addiction.
