Bryan M. Spann, DO, PhD

Dr. Spann is Clinical Director, Nantz National Alzheimer Center Clinic. He is a board-certified neurologist specializing in the clinical management of patients with cognitive disorders. Spann’s clinical interest includes mild cognitive disorders, Alzheimer disease and dementia with movement disorders. In addition, Spann is interested in non-cognitive manifestations of dementia such as behavioral changes and sleep disorders. His research interests include Alzheimer's disease, vascular (stroke) dementia, movement disorders (e.g. Parkinson disease) with dementia plus behavioral disorders in the elderly.



Spann received his D.O. and Ph.D. at Michigan State University. He completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic followed by fellowship training in both movement and neurobehavioral disorders.
