Declomycin belongs to a group of drugs called tetracycline antibiotics. These help to stop the growth and spread of bacteria in the body.

This medication comes in an oral (by mouth) tablet form and is usually taken 2 to 4 times a day, on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. Declomycin should be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
