Male Breast Cancer Health Center

Although breast cancer is typically found in women, men have a chance of getting it too. Male breast cancer is usually found in men between the ages of 60-70 and makes up less than 1% of all breast cancer cases.

Despite the rarity of this type of cancer, there are several risk factors that can increase the chances of getting male breast cancer including:

  • Exposure to radiation
  • Family history of breast cancer
  • High levels of estrogen

Inherited genetic mutations can also cause breast cancer. Talk to your doctor if you think you may be at risk for breast cancer.
